Pastor - Paul Russell

I became a Christian at the tender age of seven. My parents were active in their church, and I was going to church for nine months before I was ever born! My mother was the church secretary for nineteen years, and my father was the church librarian. I was active in my youth group through high school, and I immediately got involved in a local church when I started college. I experienced my greatest spiritual growth during my college years, and I heard the call of God to full-time vocational ministry while there, singing in a traveling vocal ensemble. After graduating, I married Karen Beckham. We worked for two more years and then moved to Memphis, TN, to attend seminary. I've served as the Pastor of four churches in Mississippi and Florida in the last eighteen years. The best part of our married life together has been the adoption of our two daughters! Desiree came to live with us in 2004 and Mary Elizabeth in 2007. They are the delight of our lives!
